If you decide to register for Galactic Revolt, you will receive your personal registration number from me, enabling you to play all the levels that came with Galactic Revolt and any other levels you have made yourself or downloaded from the internet. Also note that you will be able to play levels using any scenario files, not only the 'Canyon' scenario used in the free levels.
Furthermore, by registering for Galactic Revolt, you will encourage me to continue developing new games for the Mac, and you might help me buy a new Mac which I will need if I'm going to develop state-of-the art software ;-)
2. What does it cost to register Galactic Revolt?
The standart pricing sheme for Galactic Revolt is:
• Standart price per single-user license: 15 US$
• Reduced price per single-user license (see note!): 10 US$
• When you buy ten or more single-user licenses (per license): 10 US$
(You see it would be stupid to buy nine single-user licenses, do you? ;-) )
• Site License: 300 US$
(allows you to use Galactic Revolt on any Computer at your site)
• World-Wide License: 500 US$
(allows you to use Galactic Revolt on any Computer belonging to your company)
About Reduced Price Licenses:
If you are under 18, a student or unemployed you can choose to pay the reduced price for Galactic Revolt. There is no difference between the reduced price or standard price license. I do not require any proof of you being allowed to select the reduced price, I rely on your honesty.
About alternative pricings:
If you disagree to my pricing scheme (especially concerning site- & world-licenses) , feel free to contact me and suggest any alternative payments. Be aware that I might also accept non-monetary payments such as old hard-/software, etc… but, be serious! No "I'm so poor, please send free license code to suxer@aol.com" ;-)
3. How do I pay for Galactic Revolt?
There are three possible ways to pay your registration fee for Galactic Revolt:
a: Using the Register application
Simply open the Register program that came with Galactic Revolt. In the form that appears, enter your name, your email address (or if you still don't have internet access, your postal address) , and the number of single-user licenses for Galactic Revolt you wish to purchase (or click on the Site- or the World-Wide-License checkboxes). If you are entitled to obtain a reduced price registration (see note above) then click the Reduced Price checkbox). From the popup menu to the bottom left select your preferred payment method.
If you pay via Credit Card or First Virtual you can email or fax the data to Kagi (the company collecting the payment fees for my software). To email the data just click onto the copy button, and paste the data into the body of an email message. Then mail the message to <sales@kagi.com>. If you want to to fax the information, print it out and use a fax machine, or simply use a fax modem if you have one. Kagi's fax number is +1 510 652-6589.
If you wish to send the data to kagi by postal mail, just print the data using the Register application. Then mail the form (along with your money or check, if didn't choose a different payment method) to the address shown on the sheet, which is:

You will receive an acknowledgement email message (or/and a postcard receipt if specified) when Kagi shareware has registered your data (usually no more than 48 hours after they receive your email/fax/letter). I will send your registration code to you within a few days after receiving the acknowledgement message.
b: Using the World-Wide-Web
If you own a credit card and have a connection to the internet, you can register using the World-Wide Web. Just go to <http://order.kagi.com/?F6> and follow the instructions online. Alternatively you can use the secure version of the ordering page by going to <http://order.kagi.com/?F6&S>
You will receive an acknowledgement email message and a postcard receipt if specified) when Kagi shareware has registered your data (usually no more than 48 hours after they receive your data). I will send your registration code to you within a few days after receiving the acknowledgement message.
c: Sending the Payment fee directly to me.
If for some reason you don't want to have your registration fee collected by Kagi shareware, then you can also send your registration fee directly to me by postal mail. Please send the money in cash (no coins, no checks) to my address (see bottom). I will send your registration code to you by postal mail or email when I receive your letter.
Note that your registration code will only be valid for the name you specify in the Register program / registration web-page. If you want to have Galactic Revolt registered for a different name (for example when registering Galactic Revolt as a present for somebody), then tell me so using the comment feature of the Register program, or by sending me a separate email.
4. Once you have your registration code
Once you have obtained your personal registration code from me, go to Galactic Revolt and click the 'Register' button. In the dialog box that comes up, enter your name (exactly as you gave it to me) and your registration code, and press 'That's it'. Now you should be able to play any levels you want with Galactic Revolt. Should you experience any problems, contact me.
